Matthew is head of the firm’s corporate and commercial department. Having qualified as a solicitor in 1993, he became a partner within four years of qualification.
Matthew has over three decades of experience advising global companies on corporate and commercial transactions with an emphasis on emerging technologies and e-business solutions. He has played a key role in the first flotation of an internet service provider in the UK and recently the AIM listing of a market leader UK and Indian SMS aggregator. Matthew has a long standing client base and is a trusted adviser to his clients with an in depth knowledge of their business needs.
Matthew graduated with a BSc in Chemistry and Law and a BA in Law from Exeter University.
Rachel advises on a broad range of corporate and commercial legal matters that may arise during the lifetime of a business, including share and asset acquisitions and disposals; equity and loan investments; corporate governance and shareholder issues; drafting and/or advising on commercial contracts.
Rachel’s clients operate across diverse sectors such as video game development, design and media, manufacturing, financial investment, property development, pubs, hotels, care homes, medical/dental services through to provision of mobile engagement software and services.
Rachel qualified as a solicitor in 2000. She joined the corporate and commercial department of Bracher Rawlins in 2012 and became a partner in 2022.
Rachel graduated from Oxford Brookes in 1996 with a degree in Law, she then completed her legal training at the College of Law. She has previously worked in regional firms and as a consultant providing legal services in-house and direct to clients.
