Belinda is a Consultant to the firm’s Employment Department. She trained at a European practice in Central London, qualifying into the Commercial Litigation Department. Belinda established that practice’s Employment department and served as its Co-Head for 10 years.
Belinda has nearly 30 years’ broad experience of having advised both employers and employees on all aspects of employment law, contentious and non-contentious, with an emphasis on executive termination and discrimination. She was a founder member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association (ELA) International Committee and a member of ELA Legislative and Policy Sub-Committee.
Belinda is Director of an independent prep school for girls in Beaconsfield and deals with a variety of legal, regulatory including safeguarding, safer recruitment, staff and administrative matters. She has experienced 2 ISI Inspections.
In addition to her employment practice, Belinda has advised on education law with experience in the independent, maintained and further education sectors.
Her work also involves some community liaison and voluntary projects with local residents, businesses, and authorities and sustainable transport charities.
Belinda speaks some French, German & Spanish and is also a fervent supporter of the benefits of Latin!
